Our Story

In 2019, The Tenacious Seed founders, Travis and Pete, set out to find the most natural form of therapeutic wellness. As seasoned professionals and avid outdoor enthusiasts involved in triathlons, hiking, and surfing we were searching for a natural way to recover from stressful days at work and strenuous exercise.

Ultimately, we recognized the incredible wealth of natural resources under our feet at Travis’ family farm. This farm is nestled amongst the beautiful streams and tributaries of Tidewater, Virginia and located in a secluded, untouched spot on the banks of the Nansemond River.

This undisturbed and unbothered patch of land is overflowing with natural bounty and is free from the chemicals and pollutants of modern farming techniques. It is here where we planted our first crop of 100% organic, all-natural hemp and raised it with pure Mid-Atlantic sunshine and water from local artisanal wells.

We deliver quality. We grow all our products at our farm in Tidewater, Virginia. Once harvested, our hemp is processed in a lab in Chesapeake, Virginia, using stringent quality control procedures that allow us to efficiently create quality products while innovating new methods based on our experience.

We are committed to crafting sustainable CBD products made from natural raw materials and packaged in eco-friendly reusable, 100% recyclable packaging. We package all our products using Miron Violetglass which filters out degradable sunlight while simultaneously harness the power of beneficial Ultraviolet and Infrared light. Miron Violetglass is a biophotonic material that naturally filters out sunlight allowing UV and Infrared light to penetrate the glass and energize the CBD. This ensures your CBD products always retain their purity and potency.
